I really feel for them and really prayed for them as well. As in. Prayed for their safety, wisdom, faith and strength.
I read from a paper that Tshomlee Go and Toni Rivero are respected in the International Competions they have been to. Their presence is strongly felt. They are considered as two of the country’s top medal bets.
At ang price ng GOLD medal sa Olympics? - A whopping 15M pesos. That's a guarantee from Mrs. Arroyo's send off for Team Philippines during their courtesy call in Malacanan. It was orginally 11.5M, she added 4.5M!. Our President knows how important it is to encourage our athletes. It's a humongous addition to the team's motivation to excel.

“If you want to dream, be sure that you will back it up with hard work to turn it into reality,” Rivero said. “And that’s what I’ve been doing. Now, I know something good awaits me in the Olympics.”She was a round short of entering the gold-medal game in the 2004 Athens Olympics. - (Source: www.gmanews.tv)
Both our Taekwondo jins did'nt get to sing our National Anthem in Beijing. They were our last two aces before we called it quits. Sad but true, they will leave Beijing still chasing for the oh-so elusive gold.
The Taekwondo Olympic committee mentioned that our Taekwondo program is boasted to be at par with the world's best. however, since we failed to get a medal, the program will run into a series of overhauls.
Ay nako, even if they do not have an Olympic medal yet. To Tshomlee Go and Toni Rivero - THANK YOU for your doing your best for the country! Your dedication and courage is more than enough for us. And because of you, I take pride in saying - Pinoy AKO. ![]()
